stay green by remote
We now offer remote assistance. This cost-free, virus-free system allows you to control when we connect remotely to your computer. It generates a secure log-on key that expires when you shut down the software; no security risk! Our help is provided by telephone, e-mail and through the Internet directly to your personal computer via remote control while you watch – call for a free demonstration!
Download Now (accept and save on desktop for repeat use). Mac users click here.
The download itself should take less than a minute, so I suggest you try it out ahead of time. You have to be present to initiate contact. After you download and save the program on your desktop, you will see a green icon called ShowMyPc. Please read the below instructions carefully.
  • It is called ShowMyPc and is a freeware program we use for all our remote clients. Many other companies use this program for remote support.
  • Please start by downloading the small (1MB) file and saving it on your desktop.
  • The program generates an authorization code which you need to pass to me before you leave. This is your authorization for me to work on your system.
  • Double-click to run the ShowMyPc program from your desktop.
  • Click ShowMyPc Now, and wait for the code to generate.
  • Click the green email button (looks like an envelope) and send me the invite via email.
  • ShowMyPc must stay running while I am connected; do not close it, or you must repeat above steps with a new code.
  • If the Helpdesk gets kicked out, or lose connection, you must be there to allow me access again with a new code.
  • ShowMyPc works ANYWHERE you have a high-speed internet connection. You do not have to leave it at the office.
